Air Filters are designed to fit right into the standard OEM airbox.
No modifications are required by the owner, no jet changes or adjustment
of the carburetors is anticipated or suggested. Customer modification
of the standard airbox - removing the cover, drilling holes into
te side or top will have a drastic effect on smooth carburetion.
Modifications will cause the stock system to run lean and reduce
horsepower. Keep your motorcycle stock and the new K&N Replacement
Element will be good for the life of the engine.

K&N Replacement
Air Filters are ideal for extended use in dirty and dusty off-road
riding and provide clean carburation even at high altitude. As a
rule, no jet changes are required with just a K&N filter element,
however the spark plug condition should be checked for proper mixture
after the first few miles riding. If the airbox has been modified
for increased air flow, the main jet size will need to be increased
to provide the proper fuel mixture.

K&N Cleaner and Degreaser
K&N Air Filter Cleaner is the only cleaner formulated
to clean K&N Filtercharger© elements. The use of
any other cleaning solution can void the filter's warranty,
and quite possibly could demage the cotton material. K&N
cleaner works to dissolve the dirt build up and old filter
oil, and can be washed away with water. It is biodegradable
and sofe on paint, chrome, cast aluminium, plastic, rubber
and vinyl when used as directed. Complete instructions on
bottle.
Note: Do not use on polished or anodized aluminium

K&N Air Filter Oil is the only oil specially formulated
to work in combination with the cotton fabric K&N Filtercharger©
elements providing a superior air filtration system. When
used as directed, it quickly penetrates the filter pleats,
where it remains suspended in the cotton fabric. Saturation
is maintained until the element is cleaned with K&N
Air Filter Cleaner.

Crankcase Vent Filters
"One Piece Design" for Competition Use. Steel
base crankcase vent filters have vent tubes sweged into
base. One piece design with rubber or chrome top. Filters
with mounting studs can be mounted remotely, but require
vent hoses and clamps. Filters mounted direct can be pressed
into rubber grommets in valve covers. All base plates are
chrome plated. Tubes are zinc.
